Abby Lee Miller, JoJo Siwa

When JoJo Siwa walked the red carpet for the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, she debuted a bold new look that many fans likened to the band KISS. Now, her former Dance Moms instructor, Abby Lee Miller, is weighing in on the edgy transformation.

On Friday, April 5, Miller published a video on TikTok reacting to Siwa's music video for her song "Karma." The track is part of Siwa's album of the same name, which dropped on March 18.

Miller, 58, was uncharacteristically complimentary when sharing her blind reaction to the 20-year-old's music video, which featured JoJo wearing black face paint with a black bedazzled outfit and gyrating against another woman.

"Everyone is making such a big deal about her rebranding," Miller said. "JoJo is doing incredible dancing with a lot of paint on her face. It used to be stars and rainbows and pink and lavender and turquoise, and now it's black."

She continued: "It's still her doing incredible dancing, so I don't know if it's so much as a rebranding or just maturing, getting older, wanting to show another side of her."

In her reaction, Miller also shared her thoughts about the "Karma" music video as a whole. "I thought the costumes were over the top, loved it," she declared. "I think she looked most beautiful when she was down in the water."

Miller concluded: "I thought it was absolutely amazing. I'm going to watch it over and over and over again."
