Dance auditions Jan. 20 at MCCC

MONROE — Monroe County Community College's Inside Out Dance Ensemble will hold auditions for the next season from 9-11 a.m. Jan. 20 at MCCC, 1555 S. Raisinville Road. Auditions will be held in Room H-139 in the Welch Health Education Building on the north end of the campus.

Experienced dancers, age 18 and older, can have full company membership. Teens age 14 and older can have apprenticeships.

IODE is a contemporary dance company that has been housed at MCCC since 2010. Under the direction of Kellie Lajiness, IODE provides dance entertainment at events both on and off campus. The annual recital is held in the spring. This year's recital theme will be "One for the Books." It's scheduled for April 13-14 at MCCC.
