Cavalry Audio, the podcasting division of Oscar nominee Dana Brunetti’s media company, is launching a new series about the social video landscape.

“Tok Show With Remi & Connor” will be hosted by influencers Remi Bader and Connor Wood, covering weekly highlights and trends across TikTok with content creators, celebrities and fans. The series premieres June 29 via iHeartRadio Podcast Network.

Bader rose to fame on TikTok over the past year thanks to her “realistic clothing hauls” in which she reviews and comments on clothing — often copying model poses and exposing size discrepancies from a wide array of brands. Wood has grown a loyal following with his relatable comedic rants about life in quarantine as an unemployed person in his 20s.

“I’ve always thought about having a podcast but wanted there to be some sort of purpose around it before I started one. I’m super excited to be able to talk to people that have grown their following on TikTok like I have and hear their stories. This podcast is all fun, no drama and of course, will have lots of humor. And I think that’s what we all need more of,” said Bader.

Wood added that TikTok is “like the mysterious cool kid in a teenage romcom — insanely popular and equally vague. For people like myself — and a ton of others — who somehow found a way to climb the algorithm’s ladder, you’d think I would have a better grasp on what the hell is going on…. but full transparency, I have no idea 98% of the time. Tok Show will be as much of a digestible breakdown of TikTok for myself as it will be for the listeners.”

Cavalry Audio’s Margot Carmichael is producing. Brunetti and Keegan Rosenberger will serve as executive producers along with Bader and Wood. Jason Leibsla is audio editor with music from Gramoscope Music.

The new series joins other successful podcasts from Cavalry including the top-charting “The Devil Within,” “Here’s the Thing with Alec Baldwin,” “Daddy Issues With Joe Buck & Oliver Hudson,” “Modasucka With Michael Blackson” and “Can You Survive This Podcast? With Clint Emerson.”

Cavalry Media was founded in 2018 by Brunetti, Rosenberger and Matt DelPiano. The primary business is feature film development and production and scripted TV, along with a full service talent and literary management company. Past projects from principals include “House of Cards,” “The Social Network” and the “Fifty Shades” trilogy. The company has multiple projects set up with various studios and streaming platforms, including Disney, Amazon/IMDb, ABC Studios and Peacock.
