Dan Harmon’s ‘Harmonquest’ Renewed For Second Season By Seeso

Seeso is bringing Dan Harmon’s roleplaying series Harmonquest back for a second season for premiere in 2017.

The new season will see Boneweevil (Jeff Davis) banished to the Demon Realm, with Fondue Zoobag (Harmon) and Beur O’Shift (Erin McGathy) journeying to Hell to save their friend, but they quickly realize that meddling with powers beyond their control can have serious and hilarious consequences.

“A lot of people worked very hard on season one of ‘HarmonQuest’ and I love seeing them rewarded for that because, well, that’s basic behavioral conditioning,” said Dan Harmon.

Seeso also is set to premiere Harmonquest: Expanded Universe, featuring bonus videos and never-before-seen deleted scenes from Season 1, on November 3.

Harmonquest is like no other show, and it’s been a dragon-sized hit for us, with fans clamoring more. So we’re pumped to be answering their call – with never-before-seen Expanded Universe exclusive gameplay NOW and a continuation of Dan and Spencer’s epic that picks up where the season 1 cliffhanger left off,” said Evan Shapiro, Executive Vice President, Digital Enterprises, NBCUniversal.

Harmonquest is produced by Universal Cable Productions and Starburns Industries.

“We are thrilled to continue the hilarious journey of our unlikely heroes with another season of ‘HarmonQuest,’” said Aimee Carlson, VP of Development, Universal Cable Productions. “Its unique production hybrid of live-action and animation is like nothing else out there. We look forward to all new adventures and many more laughs with Dan, Spencer and this great group of talent.”
