Damon Albarn Enlists Oasis’ Noel Gallagher and Savages’ Jehnny Beth for New Song 'We Got the Power'

Earlier today, it was revealed that Savages frontwoman Jehnny Beth was one of the many, many guests on the incredible tracklist for the new Gorillaz album Humanz, which comes out April 28 via Parlophone. But it turns out that the track “We Got the Power,” which features Jehnny, also features a surprise backing vocalist: Noel Gallagher of Oasis. Damon Albarn revealed this during an interview on Radio X today. Listen to the track below. It follows three other Humanz songs unleashed today: “Ascension” [ft. Vince Staples], “Saturnz Barz  [ft. Popcaan], and “Andromeda” [ft. D.R.A.M.] Other guests on Humanz include Grace Jones, Mavis Staples, Danny Brown, De La Soul, Pusha T, Kali Uchis, and Kelela. The record features narration by Star Wars actor Ben Mendelsohn.
