'Take The Damn Picture!': 'Miz & Mrs' Preview Has Mike Dreading Holiday Photo Shoot

It’s Christmas in July on an all-new “Miz & Mrs” as the Mizanin household tries its best to clean up and get together for a holiday photoshoot. As one would expect from the WWE’s It Couple, it does not go quite as planned.

In a preview for the eighth episode of Season 3, Mike and Maryse discuss her love of the holiday season and why she tends to go all out on the decorations, which include not one, not two, but five well-decorated Christmas trees.

“When it comes to Christmas, you can never have enough decorations,” Maryse explains in the preview. “The more eccentric you are, the more dramatic, the better.”

They utilize the home decore for an annual photoshoot every year, which Maryse loves but Mike dreads.

“It’s literally the worst experience of your life,” he says.

He later adds: “If they were like, ‘Is there something in your life that you never want to do again?’ It would probably be a holiday photo. They are absolutely dreadful.”

This year in particular is extra difficult for them. Maryse enlists the help of her best friend, Amanda, to act as the photographer and “creative director” of the shoot.

“Who has a creative director for their Christmas photoshoots?” Mike asks. “Like you get a polaroid and you take the damn picture!”

However, Amanda has other ideas. She looks at the first few images and notes that there is too much blank space and not enough of the decorations are in the frame. So, she asks if they can move two of the five Christmas trees closer together and farther forward. Mike, clad in a full Christmas tuxedo, reluctantly agrees to take on the massive task just to make his wife happy.

As their two daughters get rambunctious around them, Mike gets on the floor and starts trying to move the trees without knocking over all the decorations — it doesn’t work.

Not only does everything come off the tree and fall to the floor, one of the trees tips over and crushes him underneath. Fortunately, he’s a tough WWE Superstar so he gets out unscathed. The same can’t be said for the spot they hoped to do the photo shoot, though. That’s when Maryse has an idea.

With the place thoroughly messed up, she notes it’s actually more indicative of their lives. So they decide to change out of their formal wear and into matching pajamas to do a messier, more “ridiculous” shoot.

However, one thing is missing. So, they enlist the help of Mike’s father and her mom to stand on top of the stairs and shower them with fake snow just to give the shoot that extra bit of winter wonderland flare.

What else does the Mizanin family have in store for Christmas? Fans will just have to tune into “Miz & Mrs” Monday at 11 p.m. ET/PT on USA Network to find out.
