Damian Hurley Explains His Shocking New Shaved-Head Look: 'Tempted to Do It for Real'

Damian Hurley is rocking a dramatic new look that has his followers doing a double take.

The 18-year-old model and actor, who is the son of Elizabeth Hurley, noticeably ditched his signature long tresses in a shirtless outdoor snapshot posted earlier this week on his Instagram account, which sees him rocking a shaved head and holding a camera.

But Damian assured fans the look was only temporary, "for a new project" he was working on, and that he didn't actually shave his head.

"Update lol: i love u guys so much hahaha but I'm not bald 😭😭😭 ^ this is prosthetics for a new project lmao but thank u for the cute comments ♥️," he wrote in the caption.

Damian did go on to admit, however, that he was "tempted to do it for real now 👀."

Damian celebrated his 18th birthday last April while social distancing amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, writing on Instagram, "Isolation drastically altered the plans for my last night as a minor."

But Elizabeth's lookalike only child certainly had moments of celebration throughout the year, including a trip to Mykonos over the summer, from which he shared a pair of photos — one shirtless and one and modeling the trendiest accessories of 2020: a face mask, face shield and surgical glove.

Damian's summer vacation came just one month after his father and Elizabeth's ex, Steve Bing, was found dead at the base of a luxury apartment building in Century City, California, on June 22.

The teen thanked his social-media followers for their support following the news, captioning a somber Instagram photo of himself, "I'd like to thank you all again for your overwhelming kindness over the past few days. Your love and support has helped me greatly during this challenging time."

And while most are quick to heart her bikini pics, some take issue with the photographer behind them: the star’s 15-year-old son, Damian Hurley

Damian certainly has an eye for aesthetics, having photographed his famous mom in the past. In fact, Elizabeth previously defended her son taking photos of her in a bikini, after BBC host Christine Lampard called the practice "odd."

The actress set the record straight with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live back in March 2018. "Here's the thing — he doesn't take all my bikini photos, by the way," she said. "Some of them are professional, some of them are my sister, anybody who I can get."

When Damian does snap her photos, it's usually when they're vacationing together. Explained Elizabeth, "When we're on holiday together, sure, he'll take some pictures. And, you know, he's got a really good eye and he's studying photography and it's ridiculous."

But she hoped he didn't pursue it as any more than a hobby, adding, "He's an A student — he's brilliant at all kinds of things other than modeling, so it's just to pass time at the moment."
