Dakota Johnson Took Chris Martin's Son Moses on a Helicopter Ride & We Have Questions

It’s been a whirlwind ride for Dakota Johnson these past few weeks — now, in more ways than one. After much speculation that her relationship had ended, Johnson shut down rumors with a few very public outings. Her latest: Johnson rode a helicopter with Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow’s son Moses on Thursday Aug. 8 — just the two of them. We’re glad to see that Johnson is forming a close relationship with Martin’s kids, but we non-celebrities have a few questions about this particular practice. Where does one catch a helicopter in NYC? Where was it going? And how do we get in on their next trip?

Johnson was spotted in NYC Thursday with 13-year-old Moses Martin, first grabbing juice together and then heading over to the helicopter. Johnson’s been on a promotion tour for new film The Peanut Butter Falcon in New York, and was spotted over the weekend in the Hamptons with Martin, his ex-wife Paltrow, and her new husband Brad Falchuk. It’s unclear whether the kids were along for that too, but Moses seems thrilled to be spending the day with Johnson (or maybe just to be riding a helicopter — both are valid!). Moses is one of two kids Paltrow and Martin share: the other is 15-year-old daughter Apple Martin.

With recent rumors that Paltrow “pushed” Martin to get back together with Johnson, it should be no surprise that their kids are considering Johnson a part of the family. It’s one thing to have an amiable co-parenting relationship, but Martin and Paltrow seem to have much more of a shared life than that. So it’s good for Johnson that she has Paltrow’s full blessing — and after this helicopter ride, hopefully Moses’ too!
