After an action-packed charter season in Sardinia, Italy, the Parsifal III crew gathered virtually in the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Clubhouse to talk about the biggest moments from Season 4.

Captain Glenn Shephard, First Officer Gary King, chief stew Daisy Kelliher, chief engineer Colin MacRae, chef Ileisha Dell, stews Mads Herrera and Lucy Edmunds, and deckhands Chase Lemacks and Alex Propson discussed everything from the boat’s engine issues to the crew’s personality clashes to the drama from nights out on Part 1 of the reunion, which aired on July 17.

Daisy, whose longtime working relationship with Captain Glenn faced some growing pains after he criticized the interior team a few times, also revealed why his words really made her emotional during the charter season.

Daisy Kelliher’s Thoughts on Captain Glenn’s Criticism

On Part 1 of the reunion, host Andy Cohen asked the Ireland native why she repeatedly got so emotional when Captain Glenn brought up ways for the interior team to improve.

“I’ve learned that I’m somebody who either needs reinforcement or no comment. I have learned that I do not deal well when I’m sleep deprived and kind of getting this negative feedback,” she explained. “For me, it just wasn’t productive.”

When pressed to explain how Captain Glenn could have given her criticism in a way that would have made her respond better, Daisy said, “I think, you know, starting with a positive, that’s kind of the standard cliché.”

“Also, for me, the feedback just felt very minuscule. It just felt very personal, it felt very — it felt irrelative,” she added.

Daisy went on to explain that Captain Glenn’s comments seemed irrelevant because it would have been her “absolute goal” to have had a stew with the guests at all times. However, she added, she couldn’t do that because the crew members needed to take breaks and rest.

“If you don’t want me to sleep, that’s absolutely fine,” she added.

Captain Glenn Reacts to Daisy’s Comments

After hearing Daisy say that his words to her weren’t productive, Glenn had a surprising response. He shared why he advised her to “work smarter, not harder.”

“I don’t want to say Daisy’s defensive, but I think that was my point when I said, ‘I don’t want you working harder,’ because Daisy’s amazing,” he said. “She works hard, everybody works hard on board, you can see that.”

He also didn’t want the chief stew to think that her performance was subpar throughout the entire season.

“It doesn’t mean that I’m not happy overall,” he said about choosing to give constructive criticism a few times. “I mean, Daisy is amazing. I love working with Daisy, and I’d love to work with her again in the future.”

After getting emotional while receiving criticism during the charter season, Daisy also teared up at one point during the reunion.
