From the moment Da’Vine Joy Randolph arrived on the red carpet at the 2024 Golden Globes on Sunday, she won. The award? Best Coordinating Beauty Look.

Randolph, who took home an actual trophy for best supporting actress in a movie for her performance in The Holdovers, didn't just pull off the challenging feat of matching your makeup to your dress, she absolutely crushed it.

“We were going for a super polished and classic glam,” says the star’s makeup pro, Lancôme Global Makeup Artist Sheika Daley, who used the jewels on the bodice of Randolph’s custom burgundy Rodarte gown as inspiration for the star's makeup. “I incorporated tons of that in her eyeshadow and also played up the color on her beautiful lips."

For her eyes, the pro chose Lancôme Hypnôse 5-Color Eyeshadow Palette in 06 Reflet D’Amethyste, plus Elora Lane 3D Mink Lashes “Michelle” to get a “fluttery" effect.

To create the perfect complementary lip color, she applied a “single stroke” of Lancôme L'Absolu Rouge Intimatte Soft Matte Lipstick in 440 Got Me Blushing to the center of lips and blended outward followed by Lancôme Juicy Tubes Lip Gloss in 01 Pure.

It’s no surprise that Randolph delivered such a killer look for her first trip to the Golden Globes. Prior to the big night, the actress told PEOPLE, “I'm a fashion girl. I love the details. For every red carpet I'm doing mood boards, I'm pulling hair references, nails references, makeup references, different swatches for a wardrobe.”

The 37-year-old Pennsylvania native will have many more red carpet fashion moments coming up since her performance in The Holdovers has landed her on dozens of awards shortlists.
