If you're like me, you probably spend a fair amount of money at Amazon. OK, a lot of money. Fine: All the money. It seems only fair, then, that Amazon should give a little of it back, don't you think?
For a limited time, you can indeed put some Amazon cash back in your pocket. Below I've rounded up four ways to score gift-card credit. Three of them involve actual gift cards; the fourth, which is where I'll start, is all about a credit card.
If you're an Amazon Prime subscriber (non-subscribers, keep reading), you can get a $200 gift card when you sign up for the Prime Rewards Visa Card. Assuming you qualify — approval happens in about the time it takes to read this paragraph — the gift card is provided instantly, meaning you now have $200 to spend on anything Amazon sells.
This is a no-annual-fee Visa, so there's literally zero cost to you (save for the Prime subscription, natch). And there are benefits beyond the gift card: You get 5 percent back on nearly all Amazon and Whole Foods purchases, 2 percent back on restaurants and gas and 1 percent on just about everything else.
Amazon also runs Prime Card exclusives from time to time, with up to 25 percent back (in the form of Amazon credit, which is processed after your purchase) on select items.
Amazon sells Apple gift cards that are good for all manner of Apple products and services (purchased from Apple proper).
If you buy one valued at $100 or more and apply promo code APPLENOV at checkout, you'll see a $15 credit in your Amazon account within three days of purchase. That's a nice little perk for you on top of a great gift for someone else. (But, psst, go ahead and buy this card for yourself if you want. We won't tell.)
If you're the recipient of an Amazon gift card, did you know that you can add funds to that card? This can be done one-time or automatically, like on a monthly basis. Why would you want to do that? To be honest, I can think of only one good reason: The first time you reload a gift card with at least $100, you'll get a $10 Amazon credit. Free money, basically.
With 12 seasons portraying Danny Reagan on the hit show Blue Bloods under his belt, it's safe to say Donnie Wahlberg is comfortable in front of the camera. But some fans may not know about his behind-the-scenes work.
Despite the fact that not everyone experiences COVID-19 vaccine side effects, they are very common - but now, a new study suggests that these symptoms may be caused by something called the "nocebo effect" and not your body's immune response to the vaccine. Research published in the JAMA Network Open on Jan.
