Cute dog takes on killer flying sphere in extreme 'Phantasm' Blu-ray box set trailer - exclusive

The flying metal spheres of the Phantasm films have killed many people over the course of the franchise’s five movies. But how would one of these brain-drilling balls fare against a super cute dog? That’s the question raised in a new promo for The Phantasm Collection (out April 11).

This six-disc Blu-ray set features every film in the series, from Phantasm: Remastered (a spruced-up version of the original 1979 cult classic) to last year’s Phantasm: Ravager. The box set also boasts a host of extras, including a fresh audio commentary for Phantasm with writer-director Don Coscarellin among others; a documentary called Phantasmagoria which contains new and archival interviews with cast and crew; a 120-page book, Phantasm Compendium, which chronicles the history and impact of the franchise; and a reversible poster.

The Phantasm Collection is now available for pre-order. Exclusively watch that new promo for the box set (which was made by Phantasm: Ravager director David Hartman) at the top of this post and see the trailers for Phantasm: Remastered and Phantasm: Ravager above.
