‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’: Saverio Guerra To Return As Mocha Joe In Season 10

“Did you get a chance to pick up those beans?” Mocha Joe is returning to Curb Your Enthusiasm. Saverio Guerra is set to reprise the character in the upcoming 10th season of HBO’s Emmy-winning comedy series.

Guerra appeared in two episodes in Season 7 as Mocha Joe, who ran a coffee stand on the NBC lot. No word on the upcoming storyline for the character.

Curb Your Enthusiasm stars Seinfeld co-creator Larry David as an over-the-top version of himself in an unsparing but tongue-in-cheek depiction of his fictionalized life.

After a long hiatus, the comedy returned for a 10-episode season in 2017. Prior to that, the series hadn’t aired a new episode since 2011. The 10th season was announced in late 2017 and production began late last year. No plot details or premiere date have been revealed.

In addition to its Emmy win for best picture editing, the series won a Golden Globe for best TV series comedy or musical and received SAG Award nominations for outstanding performance by a male actor in a comedy series for David and outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series, among other honors.

Guerra’s previous TV credits include guest/recurring roles on She’s Gotta Have It, The Detour and Show Me a Hero among others. He’s repped by D2 Management.
