Crystal Kung Minkoff Explains Her $95K Birkin Bag

During her debut season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Crystal Kung Minkoff had a fashion moment that made quite a buzz (and, no, we're not talking about those leather pants).

On the show's June 16 episode, Kyle Richards stopped by Crystal's house, and although the two were deep in conversation, Kyle was noticeably distracted by a gorgeous bag on Crystal's kitchen table. "I have not heard one word out of Crystal's mouth," Kyle admitted in an interview during the episode. "All I can see is this bag right now." When Kyle continued to raved about the $95,000 Hermès bag, Crystal declared, "It's as good as it gets, right?"

As the pals prepared to head out for the night, Kyle quipped: "Maybe we have to send it in a separate car or something."

On Part 3 of the show's Season 11 reunion, host Andy Cohen (like all of us) wanted more details on the luxurious bag. "Crystal, for a tomboy who is not into fashion and considers herself frugal, how did you end up with that Birkin?" he asked.

"My friend is a big collector, and she guided me to buying a bag," Crystal explained. "She actually has bought me a couple bags."

"She said it's a good investment because she's always like, "You don't buy anything for yourself,' because I'm like, 'I don't care,'" she continued, before Kyle noted with a laugh, "Your bags look like you care!"
