"This is not goodbye, this is see you soon," she said in an Instagram video announcing her departure.

Crystal Kung Minkoff is saying a "bittersweet" goodbye to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after three seasons. She previously made history as the first Asian-American housewife on the long-running reality show.

“I just wanted to share the news that I will not be coming back to film Season 14 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Minkoff said in an Instagram video on Monday. “It’s very bittersweet. Never did I think I would’ve been asked to do this show in a million years — let alone film it for three seasons.”

She continued, “Every single year I was asked back, it was a blessing. It was an honor. Being the first Asian American on Beverly Hills was a lot of weight on my shoulders that I have since just have really understood the magnitude of what that meant for people.”

Minkoff concluded her video by thanking the "incredible audience" for their support and adding that she hopes that she's been able to similarly support people by sharing her struggles with an eating disorder, and her father's diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease, with viewers of the show.

She also teased what's in store in the future. "This is not goodbye, this is see you soon. I have some other things going on that I will be sharing with you soon," Minkoff said.

Minkoff, an entrepreneur that founded Real Coco, a company that offers coconut products, first joined RHOBH in season 11.  She is married to the co-director of the original The Lion King, Rob Minkoff, and the two share two children.

The cast of season 13 also included Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke, but the cast of the upcoming 14th season has yet to be confirmed by Bravo. However, Bette Midler previously publicly expressed her interest in joining the show.
