The rebranded Jimmy Buffett-themed Margaritaville at Sea, took off on its maiden voyage May 14, 2022. The popular cruise line offers a two-night, three-day cruise to the Bahamas, leaving from the Port of Palm Beach. Currently, all cruises are discounted at 40% off. There are also special deals for veterans, college students and solo travelers.

The cruise offers a wide variety of amenities to enjoy for every age group while awaiting your arrival to Grand Bahama Island. These amenities include but are not limited to pickleball, an outside lounge, a piano bar, spa, retail stores, two theater production rooms and restaurants.

The cruise has received much attention over the past year. More than 36,000 passengers came aboard in April, 2023 compared to 7,609 passengers in April 2022.

Along with popularity, revenue has been exceeding initial expectations. The Margaritaville at Sea has brought in more than the $1.5 million that was budgeted. The Port of Palm Beach plans to use the extra money to improve critical infrastructure.
