Lionsgate has adjusted release dates for such high-profile titles as The Crow and Saw XI ahead of the company’s CinemaCon presentation.

The Crow is set for release on Aug. 23 after having previously been dated for June 7. Rupert Sanders’ feature reboot that stars Bill Skarsgard will now compete on that weekend with Amazon MGM Studios’ thriller Blink Twice and Sony Pictures’ faith-based The Forge.

Lionsgate has also moved Saw XI to Sept. 26, 2025, from its previously planned release on Sept. 27, 2024. The franchise is giving a bit of space to the new film after the success of its critically praised Saw X, which hit theaters in September and surpassed $110 million globally.

Never Let Go, Alexandre Aja’s psychological feature that stars Halle Berry, Percy Daggs and Anthony B. Jenkins, is now set for release on Saw XI’s former date of Sept. 27, 2024. Previously undated, the movie focuses on a mother and her twin sons, who must remain physically tethered together to survive an evil force.

Additionally, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever will launch Nov. 8, 2024, moving up a week from its previous date in order to have more time in theaters during the holiday corridor. Judy Greer, Pete Holmes, Elizabeth Tabish and Lauren Graham star in the adaptation of the popular book about a family whose misbehaving kids take charge of their local church’s annual Christmas pageant.

The move means that there is less competition on Nov. 15 for Jake Kasdan’s Christmas-themed Red One from Amazon MGM, with the project starring Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans.

CinemaCon takes place April 8-11 in Las Vegas, with Lionsgate set to present Wednesday.
