Meghan Markle just can't catch a break. Critics of the Duchess of Sussex pick apart the former actor's movements just about any chance they get. Despite Meghan and husband Prince Harry taking a step back from the royal palace, these detractors don't seem to be slowing down.

Duchess Meghan took a casual walk with her son, Archie, in Canada this week, a pair of leashed dogs in tow. People immediately took to social media to blast Meghan for the way she carried her son.

All Smiles

Photos were recently taken of Duchess Meghan and Baby Archie while on this Canadian walk. In the pics, Duchess Meghan smiles happily as she carries her infant son in a carrier across her chest. One hand is placed on his shoulder, the other clutches the leashes of two dogs.

Archie seems to be kilted to the side a little and Meghan has an arm wrapped protectively behind his head and neck. But that's not exactly how some people interpreted the photos.

Concern Or Criticism?

Social media users blasted Meghan for the way Archie was being carried. They accused the former Suits actor of caring only about the cameras, likely a reference to the way the Duchess was smiling.

Critics claimed Baby Archie was practically "falling out" of his carrier and accused Duchess Meghan of being too fame-hungry and selfish to even notice. The baby is leaning slightly to the side in the photos, but Meghan holds his head and neck up with her arm.

Experts Weigh In

Despite these criticisms, experts have weighed in on the photos and there does not seem to be any cause for alarm. Both parenting experts Vanessa Christie and Milli Hill -- author of The Positive Birth Book -- noted the positioning of one of the carrier straps.

The experts noted that the strap had slipped down Duchess Meghan's shoulder, which would have left Archie slightly askew. They did not believe the 38-year-old mother was ignoring her son but felt she was working hard.

Criticizing A Pregnancy

These criticisms are sadly not very surprising. The Duchess of Sussex was subject to much harassment and controversy for the majority of her pregnancy with the media constantly scrutinizing her every move.

Meghan was questioned publicly in the British press for everything from eating avocados to how often she touched her own baby bump. Prince Willaim's wife, Kate Middleton, did not appear to be subjected to the same amount of scrutiny. Headlines have since come out comparing the treatment of the two.
