If spending Thanksgiving week in the kitchen — chopping, mixing, baking, marinating and roasting — is not your idea of a holiday celebration, this guide is for you. Tasty feasts by talented chefs await at many local favorite restaurants.

Here are some suggestions that range from dressy to casual, traditional to freestyle.

Jupiter restaurants: Feasts with water views

Latitudes

The place: Located inside the recently renovated Jupiter Beach Resort, this visually soothing spot offers ocean and pool views.

Menu highlights: Latitudes is offering an adaptable, three-course Thanksgiving dinner service. It’s priced according to your entree selection ($65 to $85). The most “holiday” of entrees is the sliced, lemon-rosemary turkey breast with red currant stuffing, cranberry relish and roast turkey gravy, served with poached butternut squash and garlic mashed potatoes. As with any of the entrees, you get a choice of appetizer (such as jumbo lump crab cake) and dessert (five pies to choose from, including pumpkin).

The place: Located at the Charlie and Joe’s at Love Street complex, Lucky Shuck offers lovely lighthouse views, particularly from its waterfront patio.

Menu highlights: The restaurant’s stuffed turkey entree — filled with andouille sausage, cornbread and Key West pink shrimp — is presented with mini French beans and a sweet potato gratin that’s crowned with toasted marshmallow and candied pecans ($42).

The place: The fancier of three restaurants at the Jupiter Inlet’s Love Street complex, Beacon offers views of the Jupiter Lighthouse and inlet waters.

Menu highlights: Sliced turkey breast with cornbread-chorizo stuffing, turkey jus, cranberry sauce, roasted garlic whipped potatoes and shaved kale slaw ($48). For a sweet finish, try rising-star pastry chef Jenniffer Woo’s Apple dessert ($20). But have your camera ready. Artistically presented with an apple tarte Tatin, cinnamon mascarpone mousse and bourbon caramel, this one demands a closeup.

The Place: This Jupiter waterside restaurant offers a variety of seating options, including on the al fresco deck.

Menu highlights: The restaurant’s Thanksgiving Day turkey plate includes herb roasted turkey breast with giblet gravy, cornbread stuffing, glazed sweet potatoes, green beans, pomme puree and cranberry-orange relish ($68). There’s also herb-stuffed branzino with crab, pumpkin and Swiss chard in lemon-butter sauce ($64). For dessert, a Southern pecan pie with silky chocolate cremeux, salted cranberries and spiced white chocolate whipped cream ($19).

The place: Global star chef Mauro Colagreco’s Florida-inspired restaurant at the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach will offer one of the area’s most sumptuous buffet spreads on Thanksgiving Day from 12:30 to 8 p.m. The feast is priced at $195 per adult, $75 per child age 5 to 12, plus tax, tip and drinks.

Menu highlights: Where does one begin? There’s a raw bar station boasting fresh Florida stone crabs. There’s a salad and veggie station offering freshly picked produce from Swank Farm in Loxahatchee Groves as well as holiday favorites such as green bean casserole with crispy shallots, citrus and honey-glazed carrots, whipped mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes with dates and walnuts. There are “live fire” menu items such as grilled skirt steak with ají panca sauce, grilled swordfish with avocado chimichurri and pumpkin risotto with roasted mushrooms.

The “Thanksgiving Traditions” offerings include slow-roasted heritage turkey that’s carved to order, European butter-basted turkey roulade, sage gravy, thyme and chestnut stuffing and orange cranberry sauce. Sweets include sweet potato maple bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream, pear almond frangipane tart and classic pumpkin pie.

The place: Dining at star chef Daniel Boulud’s chic Palm Beach café always feels like a holiday. On Thanksgiving Day, the restaurant will offer a three-course holiday menu (with French inspirations) from noon to 9 p.m. The special menu is priced at $190 per person, $80 per child younger than 12, plus drinks, tax and tip.

Menu highlights:  Starters include duck pâté en croûte with pecans, apple and Pommery mustard and celery root soup with black truffle. Main plate options include an organic, honey-glazed roast turkey breast with turkey vol au vent, sweet potato mille-feuille, crispy Brussels sprouts with Caesar dressing, truffled mac and cheese and cranberry compote. Other entrees include the café's signature Dover sole with fine herbs. Desserts by acclaimed pastry chef Julie Franceschini include hazelnut tart with caramel, chocolate ganache and coffee ice cream, pumpkin pie with vanilla ice cream and warm chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream.

Menu highlights: Holiday starters include acorn squash and crab bisque and baby kale salad. Entree options are pepper-herb roast turkey or spiced-maple candied ham. The place: The 23-year-old restaurant, which inhabits the 1920s-era Tarrimore house on Swinton Avenue, offers a daily comfort food menu and al fresco seating around a magnificent banyan tree as well as indoor seating in the artistically set dining rooms.

On Thanksgiving Day, DaDa will serve a three-course holiday menu from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The prix-fixe menu, which includes a soft drink, is $40 plus tax and tip per adult, $16 plus tax and tip per child aged 16 and younger.

Menu highlights: Starter options include Brussels sprout soup and mixed green salad. The main course is traditional turkey with fixings such as cornbread stuffing, sautéed green beans, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. For dessert, there’s pumpkin or apple pie.
