Creative Director Gabriela Hearst Rumored to Exit Chloé

Gabriela Hearst, aka Creative Director of Chloé, is rumored to exit the brand after three years.

Chloé's transition towards a more sustainable and purpose-led company sits within Hearst's legacy, as she continued to move the brand forward during her three-year tenure. The creative director is set to showcase her final collection for the brand at Paris Fashion Week this Fall.

Sources close to the brand have confirmed that the separation is amicable and that Hearst plans to shift her focus towards her own brand alongside other projects. In her time at the house, Hearst has become known for introducing recycled and upcycled fabrics into the brand's ready-to-wear collections, alongside developing the low-impact Nama sneakers.

Perhaps most significantly though, is the fact that Hearst led the brand to becoming the first-ever European luxury fashion house to be awarded B Corp status -- a major accolade for pioneers of sustainability.

At present, it's not yet been confirmed who will take over, but stay tuned for more updates coming soon.
