Update: Josh Turner joins Foreigner, Goo Goo Dolls, Ludacris in state fair concert series

Nine shows spanning the rock, country, rap and reggae genres are scheduled for the 2024 Oregon State Fair Umpqua Bank Concert Series, with the addition of country artist Josh Turner.

Fair officials announced Thursday that Turner had been added to the lineup. Last week, it announced the other eight shows in the concert series and said in a press release it "has a range of artists guaranteed to excite everyone in the family!"

Tickets for concerts are available only through the state fair website via the ticket seller FunCard, with no service fees.

Prices for reserved tickets and VIP Plus Suite Seats vary by concert. A VIP Plus ticket includes a souvenir lanyard, access to priority entrance lane and VIP beverage bar, special food service at your seat and choice of free food items, and a reserved seat in the premium center section with optimal sight lines.

All concert tickets include fair admission.

The 158th Oregon State Fair kicks off Friday, Aug. 23, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2.

Here is the concert lineup, with dates and descriptions provided by fair officials:

Friday, Aug. 23 — Craig Morgan, veteran and country star

Saturday, Aug. 24 — Steel Pulse, roots reggae group

Monday, Aug. 26 — Goo Goo Dolls, timeless rock band

Tuesday, Aug. 27 — Yung Gravy, rapper

A limited selection of free seats are available for each show with paid fair admission on a first-come, first-serve basic, while space lasts. The number of seats varies by concert.

All concerts will be held at the L.B. Day Amphitheater, seating capacity 8,900. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and shows begin at 7:30 p.m., except for the Huntley concert, with doors opening at 3 p.m. and show beginning at 4 p.m.

Concert tickets are nonrefundable and will go on rain or shine, according to the state fair website.
