Craig Conover isn’t wasting any time.

Just days after BravoCon 2023 wrapped up, the Southern Charm cast member provided an inside look at his preparations for next year. Craig took to Instagram on Thursday, November 9, to share a few Instagram Stories of his weight-lifting routine.

He captioned a video hinting that he was prepping for the new year, which showed him doing bent-over dumbbell rows.

Another clip captured the Southern Charm-er completing a set of front squats at the Swolly Mammoth facility in Charleston, South Carolina, the same gym where he and his Summer House girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo, worked up a sweat in the week leading up to BravoCon.

Craig's Southern Charm castmates Austen Kroll and Shep Rose also frequented Swolly Mammoth over the last several months, as they geared up for this year’s fandom event in Las Vegas. The trio was assisted by Swolly Mammoth’s fitness trainer Brian Albrecht, who was credited for helping Craig drop 20 pounds.

The Sewing Down South founder spoke about his experience in a 2022 interview with People magazine, saying his weight began fluctuating in 2018 after he decided to stop taking ADHD medication.

“I’m f---ing fit, more fit now than I have been in years,” he told the outlet. “And I’m finally excited to take my shirt off again instead of hiding it on the show. I got so many compliments [when I was filming] Summer House last week. Mya [Allen] was like, ‘I’ve never been attracted to you and like, you look fantastic.’ And Mya’s tough!”

He continued: “I made a decision one day that I was going to go back to the gym no matter how much it sucked. And it did suck. I was like, ‘How the hell did I let myself get out of this habit?’”

Craig also revealed that his workout regimen had a positive impact on his mental state, as he is in a much happier place when he’s active.

“Now, if I miss the gym for a few days in a row, I feel my depression creeping up on me. It’s really helped me stay on track,” he explained. “Balance, I’ve never found. I don’t have a balance. No matter how many people want to tell me that there’s balance, for me there’s not. I’m either not doing s--- or I’m doing well. There’s no middle ground. One day I hope to find balance, but until then, I just have to keep the momentum going in a good way.”
