Craig Brody Leaves CAA, Joins Shuman Co. To Build Feature Biz

Motion picture literary agent Craig Brody has left CAA after 10 years, and is joining literary management firm The Shuman Company to help build out the company’s feature film business. Brody represented a slew of film and TV writers, directors, and producers, including Ezra Edelman (O.J.: Made in America), Ben Younger (Bleed for This), Dean Israelite (Power Rangers), and Adam Davidson (Fear the Walking Dead, Kingdom), among others.

Larry Shuman launched The Shuman Co. 25 years ago and his clients include showrunners Shawn Ryan, David Shore and Tim Minear.

“I am thrilled that Craig has joined The Shuman Company,” said Shuman in a statement. “We have had a fantastic relationship working with clients together over the last several years. Craig’s tastes and instincts mirror the culture we seek to have here. His creative approach, depth of knowledge, relationships, and wide-ranging experience with both film and television are a great fit to help lead The Shuman Company into the future.”
