The Dallas Cowboys have suffered another loss: coach Jason Garrett told media on Friday that starting left guard Connor Williams tore the ACL in his right knee during Thursday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Williams suffered the injury in the second quarter of the game.

He will have surgery within the next 2-4 weeks, Garrett said.

A second-round pick in 2018, Williams missed one game earlier this month after arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. He had played 100 percent of the 11 games he’d started before having to be pulled on Thanksgiving.

Veteran Xavier Su’a-Filo, who started the game that Williams missed, is expected to step into that role once again.
