Occult-rock legends Coven and heavy rockers Lucifer are teaming up for a Fall 2023 North American tour, featuring support from doom rockers Early Moods.
The outing, dubbed “The Satanic Panic Tour,” kicks off November 8th in Los Angeles, and runs through a November 30th date in Baltimore. Coven will not be on that very last date, instead playing their final show of the jaunt a night earlier in New York City.
Tickets to select shows are available beginning Friday (September 1st) via Ticketmaster. Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub, where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.
Coven have been around since forming in Chicago in the late 1960s, with some fans arguing that they preceded Black Sabbath as early progenitors of heavy metal, at least in terms of their aesthetic. The band last released an album 10 years ago, 2013’s Jinx.
Lucifer, made up of Swedish and German members, are now going strong for nearly a decade, having formed in 2014. The band is wrapping up work on its new album, Lucifer V.
“We are extremely thrilled to announce that we are finally coming back to North America and we are in phenomenal company,” stated Lucifer singer Johanna Platow Andersson. “Together with Coven and our special guests Early Moods we are kicking off a month of SATANIC PANIC in early November and are hoping to see many of our Fallen Angels while we make our way across the USA and Canada.”
