Couple Ties the Knot at a Kentucky Gas Station Bathroom in Disco-Themed Wedding Ceremony

Ohio residents Logen Abney and Tiana Ailstock recently tied the knot at the HOP Shops gas station in Verona, Kentucky

One gas station bathroom is another couple's wedding venue.

According to United Press International, Ohio residents Logen Abney and Tiana Ailstock recently tied the knot at the HOP Shops gas station in Verona, Kentucky. The gas station chain gained recently attention for its restrooms, which offer a unique feature.

In addition to standard toilets and sinks, is a red button with the warning "Do Not Push This Button." When activated a disco light show and dance music begins. The feature is currently installed in six of the chain's bathrooms. UPI noted that the first button was installed at the Verona HOP Shop in February 2023, with the most recent one added to their Florence location earlier this month.

In a video of the wedding posted on YouTube on Feb. 15, the bride and groom are seen walking arm-in-arm through the convenience store into the bathroom, surrounded by a crowd. The entrance to the restroom is adorned with a blue balloon arch, creating a makeshift aisle.

During the ceremony, Abney expressed his love and devotion to Ailstock: "Tiana, from the first dance in this disco bathroom to this moment, I vow to hop through life with you, through the funk beats and mellow melodies, through every rhythm in life."

Following their vow exchange Abney and Ailstock placed rings onto each other's fingers. Before sharing a first kiss, the officiant gestured for them to hit the red button on the wall which kicked off the disco-inspired party.

From there, the couple shared a first dance while friends and family stood outside the bathroom door watching and recording the couple dance the night away.

Following their dance, the couple rejoined their friends and family outside the bathroom, greeted with cheers, applause, and a Nothing Bundt Cake adorned with disco balls.

A sign in the store read, "Disco bathroom wedding in season, sorry for any inconvenience. Free foundation POP on us!!" Additionally, the gas station TV displayed "#DiscoBathroomWedding."
