Couple Remakes Britney Spears’s ‘Pretty Girls’ and ‘Oops!..I Did It Again’ for Pregnancy Announcement

Couple Jerrad and Machel Green went all out to share their pregnancy news with family and friends. They made an elaborate video that included parodies of four Britney Spears’s songs.

Each song clip features revamped Spears lyrics and a concept storyline set to a pregnancy theme. Machel takes a pregnancy test to the tune of Spears’s “Oops!…I Did It Again” which is reworked as “Pregnant Again.” The mother wears a skin tone shirt with costume gems for “Nauseous,” a seriously toned down replica of the bedazzled cat suit Spears wears in her “Toxic” video. She tries to conceal her pregnancy during her first trimester in “I’m A-voiding You,” a play on Spears’s Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo-produced “I’m A Slave 4 U.” And when revealing the sex of their new child, Machel sings “Little Girl” as Jerrad provides the guest rap, putting a fun spin on Britney and Iggy Azalea’s “Pretty Girls.” The lyrics were penned by Harrison Barnes.

November 15 is the due date for the new bundle of joy, according to the Huffington Post. The Greens wanted to announce their pregnancy in a nontraditional way, they said in a statement posted on their YouTube page. “Being huge fans of Britney Spears, we couldn’t think of a better way to share our excitement,” they wrote.

The Greens are no strangers to high quality production videos. They’ve also made alternative versions of Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” and Machel transformed into a Mombie for a spoof of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

They also have ample professional experience in the entertainment industry. Works from their Vintage Marquee Lights company have been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, HGTV, DIY, Discovery, and others.

As far as their musicality, Machel’s talents can be attributed to her 12 year history as a professional dancer, including her rein as Miss Dance of S.C., and Jerrad received a Grammy for his drumming skills.
