Most couples wouldn’t want a massive, deadly dinosaur crashing their wedding. Except Erin Williams and her new husband, Rob Cole.

Williams posted a question-raising photo from their wedding on Reddit, in which they are wearing their formal wedding attire in a gorgeous setting while being chased by a Tyrannosaurus rex. “Favorite part of our wedding day? Being chased by a T-Rex!” Williams captioned the photo.

And while they look like they’re in shock, they were not at all surprised.

“My now husband’s favorite movie ever is Jurassic Park,” Williams tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “I thought that it would be fun to have the Jurassic Park theme song playing as our grand entrance into the reception.” Apparently, the song wasn’t enough. “Then one afternoon my husband and I were talking and I somehow came up with the idea of a T. rex chasing us into our reception.”

So, they got the best man’s little brother to don a T. rex costume and chase them toward the anxiously awaiting crowd.

“Wedding pictures that are beautiful with the couple being mesmerized by each other? Yes, beautiful, but maybe not memorable. This picture though? Use it for your ‘thank you for attending’ card, you’ll be legendary,” someone appropriately commented on the post.

Why such a unique detail? “We really wanted the wedding to be about us as individuals and as a couple,” Williams says of the Oct. 8 event. “The son-mother dance was to the Star Trek theme song because that is something they watched over and over and over again while my husband was growing up. Our wedding colors were red, white, and blue because, ’Murica. The bow ties that the groomsmen and groom were wearing were the American flag.”

Williams didn’t need much of a reason to don her lace and tulle gown, other than the fact that it’s gorgeous. But her hair and body art had meanings. “I wore my hair in an Elsa braid because I love Disney,” she said. She also bedazzled the tattoo on her shoulder in remembrance of her late grandfather.

“The bridal party walked down to the aisle to the song ‘Sugar, We’re Goin Down’ because Fall Out Boy is my all-time favorite band,” she adds.

“Basically everyone at the wedding knew that this day was about the bride and groom,” she says, “because we had so many details in the wedding to set the day apart and really bring in our own personal touches.”
