1. Jam out at NashBash

A slice of Nashville makes its way to Manitowoc this weekend at The Wharf, 606 Quay St.

Sept. 15-17 is the second annual NashBash Country Music Weekend with country hits from Shania Twain Tribute, Smoke Road, Eight Second Ride and more.

There will also be a mechanical bull, country karaoke, bingo and a Packers watch party for the big game on Sunday.

2. Travel to Munich in Manitowoc

Wisconsin has rich German heritage, and to celebrate those roots, PetSkull Brewing Co., 1015 Buffalo St., is hosting its sixth annual Munich in Manitowoc Oktoberfest Party from 1 to 9 p.m. Sept. 16.

There will be a ceremonial keg tapping at 1 p.m., live music from the Waltzmeisters Polka Band and SkaBilly Circus, an array of German-style food, hammerschlagen, and a guest appearance from Helmut and Klaus.

3. Fall into the Zoo

If you look closely, you’ll see some leaves are starting to drop! Celebrate the changing seasons at Fall into the Zoo, a free event for families to go and play at the Lincoln Park Zoo, 1215 N. Eighth St.

There will be crafts, a scavenger hunt, trivia, candy, bounce house, music, and more from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 16.

4. Take the USS Cobia Diving Deeper Tour

Dive into the USS Cobia’s impressive history with a tour led by Greg Miller, a submarine veteran.

Sept. 17, Miller will share what it was really like living and working in close quarters with 80 other men.

This is a two-hour tour kicking off at 12:30 p.m. and space is limited. Get tickets now by going to the Wisconsin Maritime Museum’s website, https://bit.ly/3wRsCkS. The museum is at 75 Maritime Drive.

5. Watch the Studebaker parade

Something big is rolling into Manitowoc this week!

The 59th annual Studebaker Drivers Club International Meet is taking place from Tuesday to Saturday. While this event is exclusive to club members, the public is welcome to enjoy the Studebaker parade from the sidewalks along the route.

The Studebakers will meet at UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus, and travel north to Two Rivers, taking South 10th Street to Maritime Drive and Memorial Drive starting at 6 p.m. Sept. 13.
