There's thunder on the horizon, except it's not weather related.

The hit country music festival "Country Thunder" is returning to Kissimmee this October, recently announcing artist Luke Combs as its third and final headliner.

"Luke is a giant of country music," Country Thunder Music Festivals CEO Troy Vollhoffer said in a press release. "We always aim to program for fans of all backgrounds. With a talent of this caliber joining us Sunday night, Country Thunder’s long-time devotees and first-time campers alike will round out their weekend on a high."

When and where is the Country Thunder Festival?

The Country Thunder Festival will go from Oct. 17 to Oct. 20 at Osceola Heritage Park, located 1875 Silver Spur Lane in Kissimmee.

Where can I buy tickets to the Country Thunder Festival in Orlando?

Country music fanatics can purchase tickets to Florida's Country Thunder Festival on its website. They have four different ticket options available:

  • Weekend General Admission - $300 plus fees

  • Reserved Seating - $350 plus fees

  • Gold Circle Standing Room - $350 plus fees

  • Platinum Experience - $625 plus fees

Can I camp at 2024's Country Thunder Festival?

Yes, you just will need a full event wristband to enter the campgrounds. Similarly to the tickets, there are multiple types of camping to choose from:

  • Camping - Each campsite includes parking for one 'steering wheel' vehicle, like a car or motorhome. Each campsite can purchase one additional parking pass, called Extra Vehicle Parking.

  • Glamping - Measures 20' x 20', with your choice of bed. Your options include one queen, two twins, two queens, or four twins. Please make this selection at checkout. Your tent includes outlets for small electronics, your bed selection, and a cooling unit.

  • Premier camping - One Premier Campsite, measuring 20' wide x 55' deep. Each campsite can accommodate one RV and one vehicle. Each campsite includes a 50amp power hookup, as well as one water fill and one septic service during the event.

  • Tent camping - These campsites are tent exclusive and measure 10' x 30', enough room for one vehicle and one tent.

  • Panhandle camping - One campsite measuring 20' x 55' and 50amp power. Each campsite includes parking for one 'steering wheel' vehicle, like a car or motorhome. Each campsite can purchase one additional parking pass, called Extra Vehicle Parking.

How can I win meet-and-greet passes for 2024's Country Thunder Festival in Orlando?

The festival does not have any meet-and-greets for sale. According to its website, the only way to meet an artist is to win a pass.

"Keep an eye on our Country Thunder app, follow our Facebook and Instagram pages, visit the artist’s website, and visit our sponsors during the festival," it says on their website.

Can I park at the Country Thunder Festival?

Yes. The festival will offer multiple parking passes, from single day to multiple day vouchers. They have not released the prices for the passes as of May 2024.

What is Country Thunder's alcohol policy?

The website notes it is prohibited for a person under 21 years of age to possess or consume alcohol.

"If you are of legal drinking age and plan to drink alcoholic beverages, please carry your age identification (i.e. driver's license) with you at all times (even after being wrist banded), as you may be stopped and asked for identification," the website states.

Consumption of alcoholic beverages, by those of legal drinking age, is allowed in camping areas only.

What items are not allowed on the festival grounds?

All items and patrons are subject to additional inspection prior to entering the venue. Here's what items are prohibited from festival grounds:

  • Glass Containers

  • Umbrellas

  • Chairs with Canopies

  • Outside Food & Beverages

  • Drones, Unmanned Aircraft Devices & Remote Controlled Vehicles

  • Alcoholic Beverages & Illegal Substances

  • Animals - With the exception of service animals for guests with disabilities.

  • Bottles, Cans, Thermoses & Other Beverage Containers

  • Professional Cameras - DSLR cameras or those with a removable lens are not allowed.

  • Fireworks

  • Laptop Computers

  • Radios

  • Laser Pointer Devices

  • Noisemakers

  • Promotional/Advertising or Sale Materials, not approved by Country Thunder. Anyone found to be in violation of this policy will be removed from the festival grounds.

  • Seat Cushions larger than 15 inches x 15 inches or that contain armrests, zippers, pockets, flaps or metal backs - Subject to search.

  • Selfie sticks, sticks or poles

  • Video Cameras

  • Monopods and Tripods

  • Weapons - Knives, box-cutters, firearms, etc.
