Country music standout Sam Hunt, who played to a sold-out crowd at the Lifestyles Communities Pavilion in 2015, will return to Columbus with his Outskirts Tour 2024 at Nationwide Arena on March 2.
Coinciding with the release of his latest single, “Came the Closest," tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketmaster.com. Pre-sales open at 10 a.m. Wednesday and will run throughout the week.
A Georgia native, Hunt played football in high school and college and once attempted to pursue a professional sports career before signing with MCA Nashville in 2014.

The 38-year-old singer, who has written singles for Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Billy Currington, and Reba McEntire, started his solo career with a record-setting debut album, Montevallo, which yielded three consecutive Hot Country Songs chart and four Country Airplay chart No. 1 hits including "Leave the Night On," "Take Your Time," and "Make You Miss Me."
Hunt's sophomore effort, "Southside" — rated one of the Best Albums of the Year by The New York Times and US Weekly — reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and features his crossover hit, "Body Like a Back Road."
The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter is known for dropping surprise tracks every few months including “Women in My Life,” “Start Nowhere,” “Water Under the Bridge," and his most recent radio single, “Outskirts.”

Hunt will be joined on his 2024 tour by multi-platinum-selling country artist Brett Young and fellow Georgia native Lily Rose.
