Country star Luke Bryan brings his tour to Des Moines in August. Here's how to get tickets

Five times, country superstar Luke Bryan made stops at Iowa farms for his Farm Tour, last year bringing his show to the Schnell Family Farm in Colfax. This time around, he plays the Wells Fargo Arena, right after the Iowa State Fair.

The "American Idol" judge known for songs such as "Huntin," Fishin,' and Lovin'," "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)," "That's My Kind of Night," and "I Don't Want This Night To End" brings his “Mind of a Country Boy Tour” to the Well, 233 Center St. in Des Moines, on Saturday, Aug. 24, for a 7 p.m. show.

The five-time Entertainer of the Year, an honor he received from both the Academy of Country Music Awards and the Country Music Association, has sold more than 75 million albums in his career. In 2019, his 2013 album "Crash My Party" received the first Album of the Decade award from the Academy of Country Music.

Special guests for the Des Moines stop on the tour include "Mind on You" singer George Birge, Larry Fleet, and "American Idol" winner Chayce Beckham.
