Country Star Jelly Roll Left Social Media After Being Mocked for His Weight

His wife Bunnie XO, who hosts the Dumb Blonde podcast, shared a preview of an upcoming episode on TikTok and revealed just how much her husband has been affected by the negativity. . It's gotten so bad that he's had to step away from social media entirely.

"My husband got off the internet because he is so tired of being bullied about his f--king weight, and that makes me want to cry because he is the sweetest angel baby," she said in the clip. "My husband doesn't show it to you guys but I'm gonna have a very vulnerable moment here. It hurts him."

"The internet can say whatever the f--k they want about you and they say, 'Well you're a celebrity, you're supposed to be able to handle it.' No the f--k we're not. No the f--k we're not."

"Don't bully people because you never know where they are mentally," she stated plainly, declaring, "Enough is enough."

Jelly Roll has spoken in the past about how much his wife has been a positive influence on his life. In a 2023 interview with Billboard, he called her “a beacon of change in my life" and explained how she was able to help him get his life on track. "I would have never got custody of my daughter without her. I wouldn’t have had the stability or the money," he said.

The singer said at the 2024 CMT Music Awards that he was ready to create his next album, and without the distraction of social media, he's likely getting a lot of work done now with none of the negative comments.
