For their nuptials, the couple rented out the entire Scottish castle for 3 days, so that their guests could all stay together on the property. They kicked off the 3-day long celebration with a welcome party on Thursday.

"I was never the little girl that dreamed about her wedding. In fact, I never even thought about what my wedding would be like until I met Jordan," Fendley says. "After the first time I visited Scotland, I knew I wanted to have our wedding there, and after touring Dalhousie Castle, which was the first wedding venue we toured, I knew it was perfect."

The couple, who first met at a mutual friend's birthday party during the pandemic didn't hire a wedding planner. Instead, Fendley says she and her mom planned the wedding. They also had help from the events coordinators, Hannah and Mirren at Dalhousie Castle.

"I wanted our wedding decor to look classic, elegant, and beautiful, which was extremely easy to achieve because the castle is absolutely stunning on its own," Fendley says. "But we truly wanted the focus of our wedding day to be our love and commitment to each other."

Adds Harvey: "I wanted the whole day to be about Madison and for her to have everything she could ever dream of, so I let her make every decision except one… sticky toffee pudding for our dessert, and it was definitely one of the highlights of the day!"

On Friday, Harvey and Fendley tied the knot in a romantic ceremony. They both made entrances to live music by The Jets Duo. Harvey walked into the ceremony to “For the Love of a Princess” from Braveheart. Fendley walked down the aisle with her father to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis, which is one of Harvey's favorite songs.

Fendley wore a Casablanca dress she found at Formally Yours, a small boutique in her hometown of Dothan, Alabama while Harvey rocked a traditional three-button Bonnie Prince Charlie jacket, waistcoat, wingtip shirt and bow tie and cream socks with traditional Scottish shoes. He also wore a kilt gifted to him by Bill Wheelan from The Isle Mill of the MacNaughton group.

"I don’t have any words for the emotions I felt when I saw Madison walking down the aisle. It was the most amazing, overwhelming, and emotional experience of my life," Harvey says.

At the altar, the couple exchanged traditional vows. The singer adds: "We had a bagpiper pipe our guests into our ceremony. We also had an owl fly in with our rings, which was a surprise for all of our guests."

Following the ceremony, the hosted a traditional wedding breakfast (which happens at dinner time) where guests dined on roast plum tomato and basil soup with feta and beetroot salad. The main course included filet of borders beef and poached salmon. For dessert, the couple served sticky toffee pudding and chocolate tarts

"For Scottish weddings, it is tradition to do a wedding breakfast. It is a sit-down meal with dinner food but it's called the wedding breakfast because it is the first meal that is shared with all of the friends and family that have come together for the special day," Fendley adds.

"We decided to follow a Scottish wedding timeline for our wedding day, so of course some of the Scottish wedding traditions were a must-have!" she continues.

As a late night meal the couple also served an evening buffet with pizza, burgers, sandwiches, sticky pork, and potato wedges.

During the reception, Harvey and Fendley cut into their 3-tier cake from Liggy’s Cakes with a castle sword. The first and second tiers were blueberry lemon, and the bottom tier was white chocolate raspberry.

The night continued with dancing and more live music from The Jets, a local band. Later, the newlyweds also shared their first dance to a custom song. "I wanted to write a special song and surprise Madison with it for our first dance," Harvey says. "My mates Rob Persaud, Austin Jenckes, and Andy Holden got together and we co-wrote exactly what I had in mind."

"I wanted the song to have a reminiscent feel and sound of 1980's Bryan Adams combined lyrically with our unique story."

The next day the couple closed out their wedding with a farewell brunch. Now, they're looking forward to spending their lives together. Fendley says: "Although we are already so committed to each other, marriage feels like the next step that will make us even closer and more deeply in love."
