Jacksonville's concert calendar is filling up quickly, with country singer Cody Johnson and rock icon Rod Stewart announcing upcoming shows.

Johnson is bringing his Leather Tour to Jacksonville's VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday, Feb. 17. Justin Moore and Dillon Carmichael are scheduled to open the show. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 6. Ticket prices were not released.

Johnson is a former professional bull rider who self-released his first six albums before dbreaking out with "Ain't Nothin' to It" in 2019. His new album, "Leather," is scheduled to be released on Nov. 3.

Stewart is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer with 16 Top 10 singles and 250 million records sold to his credit. He is scheduled to play at Daily's Place at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17 — the same night at Johnson's show across the parking lot at the arena. Ticket prices were not released.
