Apr. 12—VALDOSTA — Country rapper Colt Ford has canceled his April 20 show at Wild Adventures following a heart attack last week, but the theme park has arranged a replacement act.

The Wild Adventures LIVE! concert series presented by TKO Valdosta Nissan will continue with country rap duo The LACS taking the Wild Adventures LIVE! Amphitheater stage.

"Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen and serious medical event, the scheduled April 20 performance by country artist Colt Ford has been canceled. Our thoughts are with Colt Ford and his family and friends during this challenging time," said Jon Vigue, vice president and general manager of Wild Adventures. "However, I am pleased to announce that The LACS will be filling in to perform on April 20. With their signature blend of country, Southern rock, and hip-hop, The LACS will deliver an amazing performance our guests won't want to miss."

Self-proclaimed "renegade redneck rap" duo The LACS is comprised of Clay Sharpe and Brian King of Baxley, Georgia.

The LACS boast more than a dozen records in their discography receiving millions of streams and have released several singles since their last studio album in 2021, according to a press release from Wild Adventures. Guests can sing along to favorites like "Dirt Road Dollars," "Way of Life," and "Outback" and look forward to brand new music from their upcoming album "Country Lit." The LACS will take the Wild Adventures LIVE! Amphitheater stage at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.

General admission to the concert is included free with a 2024 Season Pass, and Gold and Diamond Passholders can purchase Reserved Concert Seats at a discount. Guests who do not have a 2024 Season Pass can purchase General Admission to the concert for $10 and Reserved Concert Seats for as low as $15 as an additional cost to park admission.

Before The LACS concert, guests can enjoy live music from solo country singer/songwriter Casey Robinson from 4-7 p.m.at the Water's Edge Stage.

"It's tough to beat a scenic lake view, an ice cold beverage and a fresh-baked, hand-rolled pretzel while enjoying local music after a day of exploring, rides, and slides," said Elke Schultz, marketing manager. "Guests can unwind at Water's Edge before a night of 'rhythm, rhyme and raucous good times' with The LACS on the Wild Adventures LIVE! Amphitheater Stage."
