The return of Texas college football this weekend also marks the return of the Longhorn City Limits concert.

Grammy nominated country musician Pat Green will be performing this weekend as he headlines the free gameday show at the LBJ Library Lawn adjacent to Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

"After record-setting attendance last year, we are thrilled to bring live music back to the Forty Acres for season five of Longhorn City Limits," said Chris Del Conte, University of Texas Vice President and Athletics Director. "Pat Green and Texas music are synonymous."

The Fort Worth-based singer-songwriter is credited as one of Texas country music's modern-era founding fathers. He is known for his tracks "Carry On," "Three Days" and the Grammy nominated hit, "Wave On Wave.” He released “Miles and Miles of You,” his first studio album since 2015 in August 2022.
