New country music festival lets you camp overnight at Paso Robles fairgrounds

A new two-day music festival is coming to the home of the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles.

The Paso Robles Event Center will host the first-ever Tour Buzz Festival on Oct. 21 and 22, according to a Tuesday news release.

The two-day, two-night festival will feature live music by country bands including the Josh Day Band and Smokin’ Armadillos as well as dancing, drinks, food, wine tasting, art and activities such as corn hole and horseshoes, according to the release.

There’s also overnight camping in store.

The Josh Day Band will perform Oct. 21 on the Frontier Stage, while Doc Oliver & Stephen Styles play there on Oct. 22.

Smokin’ Armadillos take the Main Grandstand Arena stage on the evening of Oct. 22.

There will be KJUG barn dances after each evening show.

Camping sites will be located in the carnival area at the Paso Robles fairgrounds, according to the release. Pets will not be allowed, according to the website.

Admission to the Tour Buzz Festival costs $75 per person and go on sale along with campsite reservations at 10 a.m. Friday via are the Paso Robles Event Center website.

Tickets for the Smokin Armadillos’ performance are sold separately for $35 apiece and are available for pre-sale at midstatefair.evenue.net
