Caitlin Clark and Taylor Swift could have something in common other than overtaking news headlines.

Swift sported a custom Kansas City Chief's puffer jacket with her boyfriend Travis Kelce's jersey number on it when they played the Miami Dolphins in subzero temperatures in January. Made by Kristin Juszczyk, the jacket went viral and the designer scored a deal with the NFL.

Now it appears that Clark, NCAA Division I women's all-time leading scorer and arguably the most famous Iowan today, could be next to model a custom-made piece by the New York designer.

Swift's designer teases custom work with hints of yellow and black

Juszczyk posted to her Instagram teasing she is designing something new. The photo featured Juszczyk working at her sewing machine with a black piece of fabric.

It was captioned "Who do you guys thing I am making something for?!?!". Below the question it said "Here's a hint..." followed by a basketball emoji, yellow and black heart emojis, and an emoji of a girl with black hair.

The photo was deleted after 24 hours because it was posted to Juszczyk's Instagram story.

But that didn't stop fans from putting the pieces together. Wisconsin-based Hawkeye fan Taylor Bosch posted a screenshot to Twitter, questioning if Clark would sport the piece for the upcoming game Sunday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The post was viewed by more than 50,0000 people and received nearly 1,000 likes.

Clark announced Thursday she would enter the 2024 WNBA Draft and not return to the University of Iowa for another season. Sunday is her final regular-season game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena and the game she could beat the all-time Division I scoring record held by "Pistol" Pete Maravich.

She is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick for the Indiana Fever draft day April 15.

Kristin Juszczyk also teases a Big Ten logo

New York designer Kristin Juszczyk posts to her Instagram Friday a second teaser about her next custom design. All signs point to it being made for Caitlin Clark.

Juszczyk posted to her Instagram story again Friday a video of her cutting out a black Big Ten logo.

The caption thanked State Farm for teaming up with her to create the piece — and Clark recently starred in a commercial for the insurance company.

Juszczyk also said in the post the custom item will be revealed over the weekend. The Hawkeyes women's basketball team will celebrate senior day Sunday before its game against Ohio State at noon.

What will the piece look like?

We don't know. Juszczyk has only shown it will consist of black fabric and the Big Ten logo.

But if it is anything like her previous work — and if it's indeed made for Clark — the design will have Clark's number, 22, and possibly emulate one of her Hawkeye jerseys.

Juszczyk is a "completely self-taught" designer. She started sewing at a young age, spending her nights crocheting with her grandma, according to her website. Juszczyk put down her sewing needle for nearly 20 years. After making a Halloween costume for her and her husband, Kyle Juszczyk fullback for the San Francisco 49ers, Juszczyk realized she had a passion for fashion.

Before making Swift's puffer jacket, Juszczyk could be seen on her Instagram designing cropped t-shirts, vests and shorts. Many featured different football teams ranging from the San Francisco 49ers to the Chiefs.

All of Juszczyk's items are reworked clothing, which involves her cutting up a sports jersey and making it into a pantsuit or more. Juszczyk has even turned a football into a corset.

One of Juszczyk's recent designs was an officially licensed NFL Super Bowl puffer vest. The vest was auctioned off, and the proceeds were donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, according to Juszczyk's website.
