‘How Could Scott Be On Death Row When There’s Evidence That His Wife Was Alive Walking The Neighborhood?’ Asks Scott Peterson’s Sister-in-Law

In the 15 years that Scott Peterson has been sitting on death row convicted of murdering his wife and unborn son, his family has been fighting for what they call justice, hoping to get a new trial for Peterson.

Peterson’s sister-in-law, Janey, claims that everything people believe to be true about the case is not, with the exception that Scott was unfaithful. She says they have evidence to show that Peterson was wrongfully convicted.

Some of that evidence, she says, is that there were over 14 witnesses who reported seeing Laci or someone fitting her description on the morning prosecutors allege Peterson killed her.

“How could Scott be on death row when there’s evidence that his wife was alive waking the neighborhood?” Janey says on Monday’s episode of Dr. Phil.

“To say you have 14 witnesses that said they saw Laci Peterson and dog McKenzie that morning is an overstatement,” Dr. Phil says.

Hear her response in the video above. And, Janey shares what she claims is new evidence.

On Monday’s episode, hear from legal commentator Nancy Grace, who followed Peterson’s case closely. Does she believe he deserves a new trial? Check here to see where you can watch.
