You Could Probably See Halsey's New Neon Pink Hair From Space

Halsey's hair color history has been nothing short of variegated. Although they often default to a super-dark brown shade, the singer has dabbled in every color of the rainbow and then some. And while they've favored pink on more than one occasion, it's been years since the shade of pink they picked is as vibrant as the hue they debuted over the weekend.

Gold House celebrated A100 honorees — 100 of the most influential Asian Pacific cultural leaders — at their annual Gold Gala in Los Angeles, and Halsey attended with boyfriend Avan Jogia. The couple looked gorgeous in traditional Indian ensembles by designer Sabyasachi, with Halsey's being stunningly colorful, though not quite as vivid as their hair.

Halsey's updo featured loose curls pinned atop their head, with tendrils cascading down the back. Their face was framed with several skinny braids and twists that were adorned with sparkly earrings, and straight-across blunt bangs helped create a textural contrast. But as fun as the updo would've been in any color, the new neon pink makes it impossible to ignore.

Halsey posted a portrait from the gala on Instagram, and fans are understandably fawning over the look. “I love the pink 🥰,” one fan wrote — speaking for us all, truly — while another, referring to the lehenga they're wearing, said, “The pink hair to go with it was such a good choice.”

We have a feeling the neon pink is already gone, but it looked so gorgeous, we can only hope it won't be another several years before it's brought back.
