Could 'The Bachelor' Peter Weber Suffer The Same Fate As Hannah Brown?

While Peter Weber had his heart broken on Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette after being eliminated before the finale (though he seemed to enjoy himself quite a bit in that windmill before he left) he's looking for love once more as The Bachelor, premiering January 6.

Rumor has it that Peter's season may end in a similar way to Hannah Brown's, who unfortunately got her heart broken after filming, in a public humiliation which she discussed on the live finale of the show.

Hannah Brown Was Humiliated By Jed Wyatt

Hannah Brown was left shocked, as were the rest of us, when it came out that her chosen winner of the show and fiance, Jed Wyatt, had gone on the show with a girlfriend back home and just wanted to advance his music career.

Hannah dumped him and discussed this on After The Final Rose, when she came face to face with the guy who betrayed and publicly humiliated her.

It's a big fear for many of those who go on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette; who is authentic and who just wants fame?

Peter Weber Spoke About His Fears For His Own Season

Hannah later told People, “The foundation of what I believe love is is based on honesty and truth. If he loved me, wanted the best for me, why did he not give that to me? He always said he never wanted to hurt me, but he hurt me worse than anybody else did.” Ouch!

It appears Peter Weber had the same fears about his own season of The Bachelor, something he spoke about to Entertainment Tonight before filming officially started.

Peter Is Trying To Be Authentic Just As Hannah Was

Peter claims he's worried “the respect that I’m gonna show the women is not reciprocated, in regards to how seriously I’m taking this.”

He continued, "I know it’s a fun opportunity. It’s a crazy experience, once in a lifetime. But I could be fooled in a certain way.”

Peter also spoke about being authentic, something Hannah Brown made so important during her season. He said, “I’m gonna be myself and I’m not changing that for anyone. What you see is what you get. Maybe a little bit of that, you know, stealing that from Hannah."

He continued, "But that’s what I love about her and what I respect about her. I’m ready to have fun, show my goofy side. Maybe I didn’t get to show it all last season and just make this a very memorable season. And hopefully, at the end of it, give everyone that romantic story they’re all looking for.”

Hannah Will Appear On Peter's Season

Hannah Brown plays a big role in Peter's season, returning to the show, but will she be one of the contestants? Trailers for The Bachelor franchise always exaggerate things, so it's likely that won't happen, and Chris Harrison also put that rumor to rest in an interview with E!.

He claimed Hannah was there so the both of them could move forward, saying, "I think it's something that needed to be dealt with, the relationship. I think it's a relationship that didn't have a clean, clear break."

He continued, "I think there were and maybe are feelings there, and some underlying feelings that maybe they thought they had both dealt with, but I knew once they saw each other, they probably hadn't really dealt with them all, so I think it's a hurdle that we needed to clear before we moved forward."

Tune in to see what happens this season; will it be the most dramatic yet? (Rolls eyes.)
