About Time For An Elvis Biopic

With films like Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman finding critical and commercial success, it definitely seems like the right time for a film about the legendary crooner. With Lurhmann's artistic flair, this will definitely be one to watch.

Is Adam Lambert Up For The Part?

During an Australian interview with Studio 10, singer Adam Lambert admitted that he had heard about the role and was keen on throwing his hat into the ring. Currently serving as the lead singer of Queen, Lambert brought up the fact that he has been compared to the late Presley from time to time.

"I have been compared to him quite a bit... I got the lip, the lip goes up."

Possibly Looking For A Newcomer

Lambert also performed Presley's iconic "Blue Suede Shoes" during NBC's Elvis All-Star Tribute, proving that he has the pipes to pull off the role.

However, Lurhmann has mentioned before that he wants to find an unknown for the role.

What do you think? Do you think Lambert is the man for the job or would you rather have a newcomer as Elvis?
