Costco is stepping into the healthcare game.

The membership warehouse club has partnered with the startup Sesame Health to offer low-cost healthcare options for its members, the New York-based company said in a news release earlier this week.

Per the release, Costco members will have access to a selection of options across all 50 states — including $29 telehealth checkups, $79 virtual therapy sessions and $72 lab and panel consultations.

Members will also be able to get 10 percent off all other Sesame services, including in-person appointments, the release added.

Before Costco members can access deals with Sesame, they will need to create an account and verify their Costco membership through their Costco.com account.

Costco now joins other major retailers in offering health care services, including Amazon and Walmart, CBS News reported.

“Quality, great value and low price are what the Costco brand is known for,” David Goldhill, Sesame’s co-founder and CEO, and a serial author on American healthcare reform, said in a statement.

“When it comes to health care, Sesame also delivers high quality and great value – and a low price that will be appreciated by Costco Members when it comes to their own care," he added.
