Corrine Foxx, Jamie Foxx’s Daughter, Engaged To Longtime Beau Joe Hooten

Corrine Foxx, daughter of Oscar winning-actor Jamie Foxx, has confirmed her engagement to boyfriend of at least four years, Joe Hooten.

Foxx, 29, took to Instagram Sunday (Dec. 17) with several black and white snaps of the couple affectionately snuggled up on a small private boat together, highlighting her new ring in the first.

“From the first time I saw you, I knew you were my forever,” Foxx captioned the carousel, followed by diamond ring and heart emojis.

The couple was met with congratulations within the comment section from the likes of Kerry Washington, model Ashley Graham, Robin Thede, Bresha Webb, Garcelle Beauvais and others. According to People, the pair met at the University of Southern California in 2018 and began dating publicly the following year.

The news is a welcome moment of joy for Foxx this year, as she was the first to confirm reports of her father’s April 2023 health scare.

“From the Foxx Family. We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time,” she initially told the public.

Following his recovery, the They Cloned Tyrone actor emotionally reflected on his health journey at the 2023 Critics Choice Association’s Celebration of Cinema and Television.
