Mind-blowing clip reveals correct way to wrap a present: 'You've got to be kidding me'

Ohhhhhhhhhh.

A short clip is currently blowing minds on Twitter after revealing the correct way to wrap a present, particularly once you've (inevitably) cut the wrapping paper just a smidge too small — and the trick is truly so incredibly simple it is almost mind-numbing.

All one has to do to salvage gift wrap after botching a cutting job is...turn the package diagonally and keep wrapping.

Yep. That's it. That's the tweet.

The video, which was apparently produced and originally shared by BlossomHacks, a "cheat sheet for creative and unique DIY projects," was reshared on Dec. 15 by a Twitter user by the name of Chuck B.

"You've got to be kidding me," he captioned the useful clip. "After all these years..."

Since then, the wrapping video has accrued more than 20M views between both viral tweets, along with plenty of comical reactions from Twitter users who are still grappling with the fact that they were really this dumb all along.

"I’m not buying it," wrote one viewer. "It's witchcraft I tell you. Witchcraft."

"I never would've figured this out if I had literally til the end of time," wrote another. "In my defense, I'm not (that) bright."

Nothing like a rude but useful awakening, just in time for the holidays.
