Daniel’s career is threatened by Max. Plus Curtis continues to dupe Emma, Hashim suffers a shock collapse and Sarah realises that she may well be pregnant.

Daniel is suspected of grooming Summer
Max leaps to the conclusion that something untoward is going on between Daniel and Summer after he finds a love poem in her bag. And when he goes public with his suspicions, the fallout proves to be sizeable.
Despite Daniel’s assurances to deputy headteacher Mrs Cranshaw that he’s never behaved inappropriately with a pupil, Paul is convinced that Summer has been groomed and reports him to the police.

As if this wasn’t bad enough, Max also ends up coming to blows with Daniel – the result of the fight being that the youngster faces permanent expulsion from the school.
Amy sacrifices her future for Emma’s sake
Amy wants to study Business at uni, but dad Steve is ploughing all his cash into Emma’s upcoming wedding.
After realising this, Amy decides to choose a local uni and — much to Tracy’s annoyance — use her inheritance money from Deirdre to fund her education, so that Emma can have the ceremony of her dreams.
Curtis, meanwhile, will lie to Emma when he heads off to supposedly attempt a Three Peaks Challenge, when what he’s really doing is giving a talk about his condition at a local golf club. As soon becomes clear, he has no intention of exerting himself in the slightest!
Michael tries to stop Grace from going
Ed and Aggie have news for Michael: Grace no longer wants to be a part of baby Glory’s life. Reeling from the bombshell news, Michael ends up catching Grace at the tram station and pleading with her not to walk out on their daughter.
Corrie isn’t yet revealing whether Grace stays or goes, but Michael is set to discover that Grace left Glory home alone – and that Aggie knew. So he starts to wonder whether his mum used this information to her advantage when it came to getting Grace to sign the relevant papers…
Pregnancy surprise for Sarah?
Sarah meets with Underworld client Gavin, whose PA Lydia notices that she’s looking unwell.
As the cogs start whirring, Sarah begins to wonder whether she might be pregnant. And when she tells partner Adam about the possibility, he’s overjoyed. So might we be meeting a new member of the Platt clan in nine months’ time?
Hashim collapses – and is blamed for the Speed Daal blaze
In the aftermath of the Speed Daal fire, the police start to suspect arson as being the cause. As Yasmeen is questioned by officers, Hashim calls round at No 6 and starts threatening Zeedan and Alya. But mid-rant, he ends up clutching his chest and sinking to his knees.
Taking advantage of the situation, Zee then decides to tell the police that Hashim had been threatening him and had actually confessed to starting the fire with the intention of ending his life.
Phill’s mum annoys Fiz
Phill’s mother Mimi arrives and soon proves to be completely overbearing, to the extent that Fiz ends up drowning her sorrows at the Christmas market instead of spending time in her company.
Mimi has planned a party for her son but her “gift” turns out to be one that causes Fiz’s heart to sink: she’s moving to Weatherfield! What can be done about this uncomfortable situation?
