Basil Iwanyk, the executive producer for the series, in an interview with Collider, indicated that the creative team behind The Continental: From the World of John Wick is currently hesitant about making a second season or further seasons as they want to make sure that the first season is a success. Moreover, Iwanyk said that the creative team was also trying to be practical and realistic about the current WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, which have shut down nearly everything in Hollywood. Thus, at the moment, The Continental: From the World of John Wick Season 2 is not planned.
However, Erica Lee, who was with Iwanyk in the Collider interview, was more positive when she shed light on whether or not a second season would happen, as she said that she is hopeful for a second season and that the conversations for one were just starting. Lee also added that there were more stories to tell for The Continental: From the World of John Wick.
