Contestants Sing Their Hearts Out on ‘The Voice’ Final Performances

In part one of The Voice finale, each of the four remaining contestants sang three songs: a cover, an original, and a duet with their coach. Laith Al-Saadi opened the night with a cover of Cream’s “White Room,” then he rounded out his performances with an original song, “Morning Light,” and a medley of hits with his coach, Adam, which featured dueling guitars.

Hannah Huston took on “Every Breath You Take” by the Police, and co-wrote her original song, “I Call the Shots,” with Pharrell. When the two graced the stage together, Hannah filled in for Justin Timberlake on Pharrell’s song, “Brand New.”

Blake’s budding country star, Adam Wakefield, tackled Vince Gill’s classic “When I Call Your Name” and performed an original song, “Lonesome, Broken, and Blue.” Adam started his night onstage with Blake as the two covered “The Conversation” by country legends Hank Williams Jr. and Waylon Jennings.

Finally, Alisan Porter belted out her original song “Down That Road” before being joined onstage by Christina Aguilera for a duet of “You’ve Got a Friend” by James Taylor and Carole King. The Curly Sue star then ended the show with “Somewhere” from West Side Story.
