Contestant sets Plinko record on ‘The Price Is Right’

It was a big day on The Price is Right. Ryan Glass, a contestant from Century City, Calif., set a new Plinko record, thanks to a little nostalgia. The host, Drew Carey, explained that in honor of the 35th anniversary of the game, the show had increased the total amount of cash up for grabs from $50,000 to $175,000.

Glass sent each of his four Plinko chips down on the herky-jerky game, hoping to land in the $35,000 slot. One of them finally landed in the big-money slot. Glass went home with a total of $39,200, setting an all-time record.

Good luck doing that on the yodeling cliffhangers game.
